Wednesday Wishlist…

I am often looking in stores, online or at things other people are wearing thinking something like – ‘I want that’ or ‘I’d love that’ … on my various Pinterest boards I collect shots of pictures of many items and have a wishlist board too. This spurred on the idea of regular posts of a wishlist nature. So here is is, the first For the Style Seeking Girl Wednesday Wishlist post! Enjoy….

A Dream Closet…

The gorgeous Jennifer Hudson showed Ellen late last year her dream closet. One of my best friends recently showed me the video and I fell in love! I had been talking to my friend about how I have always wanted my wardrobe to be a ROOM. Jennifer created hers to look like a boutique so she would feel like she was shopping everyday. It is pure luxury, with lounges, a chandelier, huge mirrors and purple/white theme with carpet floors. Absolutley amazing, for the interview clip – click here

A Maxi Dress from BooHoo

Boo Hoo is one of my favourite online stores. Their clothes are so stylish and beautiful. I own quite a few things purchased from this site. In particular I have had my eye on their maxi dresses, I love a good maxi dress and the one called Felicity is fabulous… I would love to have this for my trip to Europe. I think it would be such a lovely item to have and could be so easily dressed up with wedges, accessories and a jacket aswell as easily worn with gladiator sandals. The Felicity Maxi only has limited sizes are available but there are many more beautiful options!

An Infinity Bracelet

I have been looking for an infinity bracelet that is stylish and not tacky. Through the power of instagram I have found an online boutique called Open Closet … They have some amazing accessories (plus clothing and shoes). The infinity bracelet is sleek and beautiful! I want, I want!

Amazing Eyeliner

I love using liquid eyeliner to create winged eyes (anyone who reads this blog can attest to that!)
My favourite make up brand Australis Cosmetics have come up with a fantastic eyeliner to enhance your ability to apply eyeliner without making mistakes. It fits comfortably in your hand, is long lasting with intense cover. I really cannot wait to get some and try it out! Check out – The Curve

Do you have wishlist items? What do you think of these? I’d love to hear from anyone who owns or has tried out these products …. I am very very keen to try them! Venture over to Facebook and check out our page – For the Style Seeking Girl or follow me on instagram @saregiak

Pregnant Style…

I was having breakfast out last week and saw two pregnant women at the cafe who looked so amazingly stylish. Lady #1 was wearing a maxi dress with thin black and white stripes with gladiator sandals and a topknot. Lady #2 was wearing a maxi skirt with a loose sleeveless shirt that was tied at the side, she had bangles and a chunky necklace on. They both looked incredible and had big smiles on their faces. The styles they chose were effortlessly casual and comfortable.

A friend of mine who was pregnant recently told me that she had decided in October that she would not be shopping for ‘maternity’ clothes. Instead she was going to make use of the plethora of maxi dresses/skirts, oversized shirts and loose pants that were filling the shops. They were not only comfortable but ones that she could wear again, as they were not meant to be fitted.
Loose summer dresses, flowing tops and bump enhancing belts are all items that look sensational too.

Below are some stylish celebrities in similar outfits that showcase the baby bump, are comfortable and stylish… They look so good that I might steal inspiration from these outfits (sans baby bump obviously…)

Love these long flowing dresses in a colour that enhances the bump and suits glowing skin. Angelina’s dress drapes beautifully from under the bustline and Jennifer’s belt adds some definition…

I love these dress-casual looks from Kourtney and Kristen (the floral pants are fabulous!).
Using a jacket showcases a baby bump and black is very flattering! The flowing fabric of Kourtney’s long vest adds a layered, softening look… Plus a smile always looks great!
I think Jessica looks amazing, her leather jacket drapes and has a beautiful cut, love the edgy vibe with the mix of leopard, leather and crimson nails! Victoria’s look is comfort-casual with a kick…
Katie Holmes’ look is one of my favourites with her coat done up top and left open around her bump. She looks glamorous in jeans and a silk top. Pink shows the look I discussed above with a maxi dress that skims. Bright patterns and colours also look great in this effortless style too.
Do you have a favourite?

Style ME Inspired

Five shots that have captured my eye or are inspiring my sense of style this week!

This is nothing new! I love glitter & sparkle*
Most of my makeup has illuminiser or glitter involved.
It picks me up and makes me feel wonderful- makeup, accessories or clothes
A manicure with a twist! Glitter tips…
I completed this above look myself as a trial for my best friends wedding..
for the day I not only had done my own but another bridesmaid and the BRIDE as well
(felt a touch of pressure to have that perfect). The result was amazing, it just added another detail and complemented our dresses and accessories so well. Plus looked amazing with the flowers. We recieved so many compliments!
(Watch this blog for a tutorial on these soon!)
Loving maxi dresses again this summer! This is a trend that I think is fast becoming a staple.
This is a wishlist dress… created by Dorothy Perkins

Love a good ballet flat! This is Bequeen by I Love Billy.
Find them locally in the Hunter Valley at Morpeth Emporium, for their facebook page click here.

Loving curls and waves…. especially really tight curl at the end of the hair
with some texture throughout the body of the hair
